Introducing Katouche | Disability Activist, Influencer & Writer
Katouche is all about being bold and ambitious with her personal style. For this Edit I was super keen for her to pick the pieces from the BijouCREATES collection that she felt would be most in alignment with her. Though this is a summer styling feature, Katouche is never scared to try a bold colour, so chose to combine a red co-ord piece set with an existing red crop top for this dynamic and confident final look.
Alongside her fashion interest Katouche is also experienced in beauty videos and tutorials, and has a love of Make-up. Exploring products that are accessible and suitable to black women and beautiful deeper skin tones. Showcasing in this look, her gorgeous glowing summer skin and a bold lip and hair clips in her summer braids. Katouche is also of Sierra Leonean, heritage, and loves to find ways to interject aspect of her heritage in to her fashion, everyday life and so much more.
Her disability activism work, raises awareness to the current issues for people affected with disabilities predominantly in the UK but also beyond. I love how I've observed that Katouche, loves to use fashion as a form of self expressions, and break preconceptions of her limitations and showcase her ability to live her life fully and in its entirety.
