The EVERYDAY SERIES

This project partnered with the release of the Everyday Duo Toiletry bag set. The inspiration for this design, came about due to the work I had carried out with LookFantastic. Testing and reviewing so many fun new beauty and skincare products, I began to consider the importance of beauty regimes as an act of self-care. Designing the duo bags as a lightweight set that could contain the cosmetics , but was also useable and accessible to the everyday woman like myself who is busy, balancing work, often academic and personal pursuits.

To test out the new bag I paired each set with a close friend, to test the new design and learn more about their everyday Routines.

Everyday Day Girls Routines

In this Feature I wanted to work with 3 women who I knew had similar busy lives with studies, work and limited personal time. I wanted to explored their share experiences of using pampering to great small moments of self-care.

I also wanted to work with three women of colour from different cultural backgrounds to explore how they also combine small details form their own heritage in their contemporary or current styling.
