This is probable our biggest announcement to date & I can't wait to share this with you all 💛.
BijouCREATES can now be shopped in our first two UK stores Diverse Gifts, Brixton (left) and Blackpound Day Store, Westfield , White City (right)and I'm so excited! Getting my products in a brick and motor establishment has been such a dream of mine and a target I set my self for 2023 at the end of last year. So to be in two with half the year left has been amazing.
Getting into both shops was definitely quite a journey and a bit of persistence needed (I may need a separate post for this). But I think ultimately what I learnt from the process was to overcome my fear of reaching out and being bold. This was my first true experience of pitching myself and brand to professionals, receiving critiques and deeply analysing the strength and weakness within the products and operations of BijouCREATES. I feel that this is such an exciting turning point for BijouCREATES and the reach the designs will have to so many new customers.

As soon as I stepped into Diverse Gifts, I felt an instant surge of energy and excitement. The store was a true haven of unique and culturally inspired treasures, and BijouCREATES fit right in! I have been so excited to feature my curated collection in this store, as I feel the hand dyed prints offer something a pit different from the sea of beautiful African textiles and prints already bursting in the store and surrounding area.
BijouCREATES entered Diverse at the start of this year.
At diverse you can see the full collection first hand which make such a great gifting idea. With the shop's history and core values I am so happy that this was the first shop I was able to break in the UK.

these past few months have been a period of great change for me and I've been so happy to see the emergence of so many of my plans and efforts I've been putting in reach fruition this summer !
